Had a great time at Hananoyado Fukuya! The private onsen with forest views stole the show. The kaiseki breakfast was a feast! The room was spacious but needed a little updating. The steep hill was a workout, but the service made it worth it.

Perfect for couples craving relaxation

The breakfast was AMAZING! ! We had our own outdoor onsen which we used several times, soaking in the hot water while staring at the beautiful view of the lake and glimpses of Fuji through the trees. Honestly, it's like a little slice of heaven. The dinners were an experience in themselves, each course better than the last, perfectly presented and bursting with flavor.

It wasn’t exactly inexpensive, but considering the experience, I’d say it’s totally worth it.

Dinner service took over an hour which made us feel rushed to finish and go to sleep after a long day of travel.
